Oliver"s Marriage to Himself

"Who can make me happier than myself?" Oliver said as he looked himself in the mirror. Hr couldn't seem to grasp the idea of being unhappy with somebody else, so he decided to put aside the heartache an just marry himself. He was absolutely certain that he could make himself feel special, wanted, needed and most importantly happy.
As Oliver began living with himself and loving himself, he realized how annoyed he felt every time he tripped over his shoes. He left them in the hallway everyday after work. Although Oliver was mad, he decided to keep it to himself and not punish his spouse. Later on, he began to hate the way he left the dirty clothes in the closet. Although he was more than furious, he kept quiet. One morning Oliver went for a run, he came home as usual and left his shoes in the hallway. After taking a shower, he rushed to get some food and the floor met face to face with him. "I have had enough of this, this was the last straw, I have tried to be a good spouse, but you just annoy me! It's over!" he said angrily as he got up from the floor.
After having a long talk with himself, Oliver decided it was time to call it quits. He was no longer convinced that he could live with himself. Although it was a hard break up, Oliver learned how to be considerate with himself and eventually himself. Oliver was ready to spread his wings and it wouldn't have been possible if he hadn't married and gotten to know himself.
